China arrival checklist for crypto-native travelers

Crypto may be your service-payment layer, but China still requires a local operating layer before you can move smoothly.

Before boarding

Confirm destination city, airport, terminal, arrival window, hotel booking status, check-in time, and whether you are landing during normal service hours. Late-night arrivals need more preparation because hotel desks, airport services, and support contacts may be slower.

Prepare payment, connectivity, Didi, maps, translation, Chinese hotel address, hotel phone number, and a support contact in one place. Do not scatter the operating plan across email, screenshots, chat messages, and memory.

Check whether your phone supports eSIM, whether your home number can receive verification, whether Telegram is reachable, and whether you have a fallback if the first data plan fails.

First 24-hour sequence

The first hour is airport exit, data, payment, ride, address, and driver communication. The next layer is hotel check-in, deposit or payment questions, food or convenience purchases, and your first local movement after the hotel.

For conference or business travelers, the first 24 hours may also include badge pickup, side event addresses, venue routes, local contact exchange, and a backup route if a meeting location changes.

Use airport Wi-Fi as fallback, not as the primary plan. If you land with no working data and no prepared contact path, every other tool becomes harder to activate.

Crypto-specific boundary

USDT can make it easy to pay CCAC before arrival. It does not mean China daily payments become crypto-native. You still need official app payment paths, cards, cash fallback, local maps, and local communication.

CCAC does not advertise RMB wallet transfers, Alipay balance top-ups, WeChat balance top-ups, anonymous SIM cards, pre-logged accounts, or rule bypassing.

When to use CCAC

Start with a free arrival brief if you need a fast review of your city, date, payment risk, connectivity plan, and hotel situation. Choose Landing Kit when you want the complete arrival stack prepared rather than reviewed.

If you want this configured before you fly, book CCAC Landing Kit or start with a free arrival brief.
